The Closet House

This is a concept project that answers to the competition theme, "Express the timeless contrast of light and shadow". Rather than directly imagining the contrast between light and shadow , the project initially focused on finding the most darkest place in a house, which is "a closet", and to seek it's contrast between the brightest place in our daily lives. When you think of your own closet, you will realize that there are a lots of precious things stored inside, such as clothes, small furnitures, books that you used to read, and so on. Instead of storing these items, the project aims to give a vital function to these objects by merging the closet and a wall. Each objects will play as a "soft" and a "movable" wall, that communicates the presence of your housemate, allowing the residents to spend a warmer and brighter lives in the house.
